PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES CONSTITUTES YOUR AGREEMENT TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES. Individuals who participate in the Sweepstakes or submit an entry are sometimes referred to herein as an “Entrant.”

Sweepstakes Period: Sweepstakes begins Monday, November 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. PDT and ends Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. PDT (“Sweepstakes Period”), and is comprised of the following two (2) entry periods (each an “Entry Period”):

Non-winning entries will not carry over into subsequent Entry Period.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the Sweepstakes, all Entrants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of prize drawing and be a legal resident of California. Patelco employees, officials, directors, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.

How to Enter: There are three (3) methods of entry. Eligible Entrants may enter the Sweepstakes using the following methods:

Automatic entry: Receive a maximum of one (1) entry during each Entry Period by 1) Opening a new Patelco checking account as a primary account holder and making a $100 deposit during the Sweepstakes Period. A joint account holder will not receive an entry; or 2) Being a primary account holder of a Patelco checking that existed prior to the Sweepstakes Period, having at least a $100 account balance at any time during the Promotion Period, and having an account in good standing.

3) Alternate method of entry: All other eligible persons may enter and receive a a maximum of one (1) entry during each Entry Period by completing an online form at https://www.patelco.org/campaign/Safeway/entry that includes their name, address (including zip code), telephone number (including area code), e-mail address, date of birth, whether they are existing Patelco member or not, and the Patelco member number, if applicable.

Patelco is not responsible for incomplete or illegible entries or entries received after either drawing deadline. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of Patelco and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries using macro, robotic, script or other forms of automatic entry will be disqualified. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. Patelco is not responsible for late, incomplete, or inaccurate entries. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the e-mail address linked to the applicable entry. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the e-mail address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Patelco is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Patelco on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website or any combination thereof.

If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Patelco reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Patelco reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of such termination date. Patelco further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Patelco may prohibit an Entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes if it determines that said Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair practices or intending to abuse, threaten or harass other Entrants.

Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during each Entry Period.

Drawing: For each Entry Period, there will be two drawings.
First Drawing Entry Deadline: To be eligible, entries must be submitted by: New Patelco checking account entries: On or before 11:59 p.m. PDT, Sunday, November 30, 2025 and $100 deposit posted by 11:59 p.m. PDT on 12/4/2025. Online entries: On or before 11:59 p.m. PDT, Sunday, November 30, 2025. Existing Patelco checking account entries: On or before 11:59 p.m. PDT, Sunday, November 30, 2025, must have minimum $100 balance.

Second Drawing Entry Deadline: To be eligible, entries must be submitted by: New Patelco checking account entries: On or before 11:59 p.m. PDT, Wednesday, December 31, 2025 and $100 deposit posted by 11:59 p.m. PDT on 1/5/2026. Online entries: On or before 11:59 p.m. PDT, Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Existing Patelco checking account entries: On or before 11:59 p.m. PDT, Sunday, December 31, 2025 must have minimum $100 balance.

Number of Winners

Entry period 1:

• One drawing of 50 winners from new qualifying Patelco checking accounts opened during the entry period (Group A) and Alternative Method of Entry (Group B)
• One drawing of 50 winners from existing qualifying Patelco checking members (Group C)

Entry period 2:

• One drawing of 50 winners from new qualifying Patelco checking accounts opened during the entry period 2 (Group A) and Alternative Method of Entry (Group B)
• One drawing of 50 winners from existing qualifying Patelco checking members (Group C)

Prize: Each of the two hundred (200) randomly selected winners will receive one (1) $500 Grocery e-Gift Card.

Prize Drawing: The first random prize drawings will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 by 1:00 p.m. PDT. The prize drawing will be held at Patelco headquarters at 3 Park Place, Dublin, CA 94568. The prize winner need not be present and will be notified by phone and/or e-mail by 12/19/2025. The winner must have a valid email and reply to claim the prize. If the winner does not reply to claim the prize by 5:00 p.m. PDT on 12/30/2025, Patelco will re-draw to select another winner. Limit one (1) Prize per person/family/household for the entire Sweepstakes Period. The second random prize drawings will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, by 1:00 p.m. PDT. The prize drawing will be held at Patelco headquarters at 3 Park Place, Dublin, CA 94568. The prize winner need not be present and will be notified by phone and/or e-mail by 1/23/2026. The winner must reply to claim the prize. If the winner does not reply to claim the prize by 5:00 p.m. PDT on 1/30/2026, Patelco will re-draw to select another winner. Limit one (1) Prize per person/family/household for the entire Sweepstakes Period. Gift cards will be emailed to each winner within 10 business days of Patelco’s receipt of the winner’s reply email claiming the prize.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Patelco is not responsible for any loss or damage which may occur in connection with the Sweepstakes. The Entrant agrees to hold Patelco harmless from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this Sweepstakes. Patelco and each of its officers, directors, employees, members, representatives, and agents are not responsible for any negligence, claims, liability, injury, property loss, or other damages of entrants and/or winners arising from, or in connection with, acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded or participation in this Sweepstakes. Patelco is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with the Sweepstakes. Patelco reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should the featured prize(s) become unavailable for any reason. Patelco reserves the right to disqualify entrants who fail to follow these Official Rules or who make any misrepresentations relative to the Sweepstakes and redemption of a prize.

TAXES: Patelco will report all prize winnings to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by applicable law. Winner is responsible for all tax consequences (if any) of the prizes.

PUBLICITY AUTHORIZATION: Except where prohibited by law, Entrant’s entry and/or acceptance of a prize constitutes consent to the use of an Entrant’s name, image, voice, likeness, statements, biographical information, city and state of residence and/or photographs for promotional or advertising purposes in connection with this Sweepstakes on a worldwide, in perpetuity basis, and in all forms of media, now or hereafter known, in perpetuity, without review, permission, or further compensation or consideration.

CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Patelco in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of California, without regard to choice of law rules. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively in the state or federal courts in Alameda County in the State of California, and Entrants expressly consent to the jurisdiction of said courts and waive any objection thereto.
