Microsoft IE Web Browser Security Bug

April 26th Microsoft issued a security advisory warning users of a serious vulnerability in its Internet Explorer web browser.

The vulnerability affects all versions of the Internet Explorer browser that leaves systems open to attacks.

Microsoft is still investigating the issue, and the company has said it will fix the problem in an upcoming update.

Take precautions to protect yourself:

  • Stop using Internet Explorer until Microsoft patches it.
  • Disable IE's Flash plug-in.
  • Use a different web browser for the time being (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, WhiteHat Aviator, etc).
