As a member of Patelco, you're automatically qualified to purchase a Final Expense Life Insurance policy for yourself and members of your family. Final expense policy benefits are income-tax free to your beneficiaries and can be used for:
Funeral expenses that commonly range from $6,000
to over $10,000

Members can get $5,000 - $25,000 of guaranteed life insurance coverage on themselves. This coverage provides for partial coverage immediately and has full coverage starting in year three. There are no medical questions and coverage is guaranteed for members. Parents of members are also eligible for this coverage but are required to answer a few medical questions to qualify for coverage.
